Pattern of English paper-I

Q.1 :- You are given a paragraph which is taken from you drama book and it is the said by any one. You have to answer the three questions. First that who is the speaker and to whom it is said. Other two question are about background and future regarding given paragraph. This question contains 10 marks

Q.2 :- In this question you have to write the character sketch on any one of given three. This question contains 10 marks. I advice you to learn only the character sketch of progress i.e. Mrs. Meldon and Prof. Henry Corrie.

Q.3 :- You are given a paragraph from story and you have to answer three questions. First question that from which lesson the given lines are taken. Other two questions from paragraph. This question carry 15 marks

OR

You are given two names of two lessons in which you have to write the summary of any one.

Q.4 :- In this question you are given lines from poem and you have to answer the three questions. This question contains 15 marks.

OR

You are given two names of two poems in which you have to write the summary of any one.

Q.5 :- Write a letter

OR

Write a story on any of the given three. This question carry 10 marks.

Q.6 :- This question is completely grammar conversion. It contains the blanks in which you have to fill prepositions, articles, correct form of verb. Also your have to punctuate the given sentence. This question carry 20 marks

Q.7 :- In this question you have to use any five idioms from given eight idioms in your own sentences.

 OR

Here you have translation in choice from English to Urdu. It contains 10 marks.

Q.7 :- This is the last question and you have to write paragraph on any one of the given five. It contains 10 marks.

 OR

You have to translate given four or five sentences from Urdu to English. It contains 10 marks.
